BHLDN Weddings - Chestnut Hill, MA
Bridal Stylist, 2017-2019
As a Bridal Stylist, I was responsible for leading bridal and bridal party appointments, creating an individualized and cheerful styling experience. This position allowed me to grow my creative styling abilities; I enjoyed making brides feel confident and beautiful. Along with styling, I gained experience with various administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, receiving and managing inventory, and corresponding with customers via phone and email. Behind the scenes, I used my ability to sew to repair minor imperfections in our sample gowns, improving the overall experience for both the brides and our styling team. In the Spring of 2019, I was chosen to be a stylist for a BHLDN pop-up shop in Durham, NC.
The 1851 Chronicle - Newton, MA

POLISHED Magazine Blog - Newton, MA
Contributor, 2015-2018
POLISHED Magazine is a Boston based magazine produced by the students of Lasell College. As a contributor for their online blog, I wrote news and feature stories focused on fashion, beauty, lifestyle, and events. With POLISHED I pitched my own story ideas, which allowed me to experiment with product reviews, shopping guides, DIY ideas, and hair tutorials. I captured original photography and multimedia for each article, and the corresponding social media posts once the piece was published. With POLISHED, I had multiple opportunities to assist with photo shoots and editorial production. Since I was writing specifically for online, I utilized SEO in headlines and throughout stories.

The Tailory New York - New York, NY
Public Relations Intern, Summer 2017
The Tailory New York is a modern custom clothing company specializing in bespoke suiting for all. As a public relations intern, I developed engaging content across social media channels including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and E-blasts. One of the projects I took on was launching The Tailory New York blog, where I published weekly curated content related to styling and company events. I wrote and published press releases on the company’s news and upcoming events, and created a press package for the brand to maximize coverage. For this position, I worked remotely and scheduled regular office visits for meetings, and to support the company at events.
Volunteer Experience
Spare Change News - Boston, MA
On--Call Reporter and Copy Editor
A linked-credit opportunity led me to become a volunteer reporter and copy editor for Spare Change News, a non-profit newspaper aimed at the homeless and low-income community in Boston. This subject was completely unfamiliar to me as a journalist; it taught me how to quickly learn and adapt when crafting a story. I covered boisterous rallies and protests, conducted remote interviews, and transcribed video press conferences in order to craft honest and informational news stories. The newspaper is published on a bi-weekly basis, but due to the nature of news (and being on-call) I often worked on tight deadlines. Ahead of going to print, I would receive a selection of stories to be copy-edited and fact checked for accuracy and any errors.
Runway Lasell - Newton, MA
Scene Manager, Hair & Makeup, Quick Change, Dresser
Runway is Lasell College's annual fashion show showcasing student designs, entirely produced by students from the School of Fashion. As a dresser and quick change volunteer, I ensured each model carefully got into each look and onto the runway in time. Sophomore-senior year, I assisted with hair and makeup for both the Undergraduate and Senior Collection shows. In my senior year I took on the role of Scene Manager, where I was in charge of choosing music, organizing models and looks, coordinating with designers, and ensuring the scene ran smoothly on the night of the show.
Kathy Benharris Productions - Boston, MA
Fashion Show Styling Assistant
Boston based fashion stylist Kathy Benharris produces the Fashionably Late shows in partnership with The Liberty Hotel. As a styling assistant I put together looks for my assigned models and ensured the show ran smoothly. I assisted in the set up and tear down of each show and kept individual pieces of clothing and accessories organized throughout the night.
Leadership
The Lasell Spartones - Newton, MA
Vice President '17-18, Social Media Manager '16-17
As Vice President, I worked closely with the President and other Executive Board members to run the Spartones smoothly and efficiently. My duties as VP included determining the rehearsal schedule and locations, co-leading E-board meetings and auditions, answering members questions or concerns, and brainstorming ideas for new material and events. I delegated the structure of rehearsals and kept track of attendance, keeping members on task. I also performed various administrative tasks such as managing members contact information, booking the group for performances, and managing the clubs finances (requesting petty cash, withdrawing from the funds, and keeping track of receipts).
As Social Media Manager, I was in charge of running the Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat accounts for the group. I curated and posted content revolving around our groups members and progress, and promoted the groups upcoming events. I was also active in creating the promotional posters and displays for each of our events.
